New IO Manager product enables complete system integration with AMETEK Land equipment.
AMETEK Land has introduced the new Input Output (IO) Manager product, a software solution which enables complete integration of its measurement instrumentation with a factory’s existing control systems.
The IO Manager software allows users to easily configure hardware system interfaces to AMETEK Land software using commercially available I/O modules through a simple tag to IO channel pairing system.
The software is user friendly and offers simple and straightforward set up as well as complete flexibility for operators to be able to drag and drop additional modules at a later stage, as required. This allows simple scalability as process or instrumentation requirements change.
With its common user interface, the software can be used to receive data from many different instruments. It is capable of integrating with AMETEK Land’s SPOT and thermal imaging camera systems and by the end of the year, will integrate with the complete AMETEK Land product range.
IO Manager supports up to 16 modules in any combination and can be customised to meet users’ requirements. The software is readily available as a package with no modifications required.

In developing IO Manager, AMETEK LAND has created a generic I/O gateway with a common hardware interface to all the company’s software. It achieves industry standard interface requirements such as 4-20mA and Relay outputs.
